We live on an island where tropical fruits are abundant, tasty and colorful, you will find them in our selection of smoothie bowls – a combination of healthy energies that will give you superpowers.

If you’d rather enjoy something salty, we have you covered with our eggs on toast – soft and crispy village bread, homemade jam, spiced guacamole (when in season), poached eggs and much more.

It is when we open our handwritten map of the area to show you our favorite places to explore before you head off for your own Sri Lankan adventure.

We like to share breakfast when the light is still soft, comfortably seated under the fruit trees in the lush garden, surrounded by the sounds of the singing birds.

It is the perfect time to discuss surf spots, hidden golden bays, hikes and temples to visit while sipping on a second coffee and watching monkeys playing in tranquility up in the jack-fruit trees.

Experience Dinners.

We like to dine surrounded by the sound of the jungle,

the crickets singing and the fireflies shining in the dark.

When the sun goes down, we like to gather - the smiles of a day well spent shining on our faces, looking relaxed and happy - to share delicious local food and a good conversation.

We like to light a fire under the stars and have a drink, while the smell of freshly cooked meals are tickling our senses and sharpening our appetite. 

Sanka grew up in the village, his father is a free-diver and fisherman with sun-kissed skin and a big smile. He can catch a lobster bare hands and defeat the waves crashing on the rocks to collect mussels. He likes to melt within the underwater world, holding his breath until the last moment to catch dinner.

The villagers were taught respect, gratitude and love for the ocean. And it is with great respect and love that we cooks fresh, local meals.

Revealing the catch of the day’s specific flavor with just the right spices, amount of ginger and touch of seasonal ingredients.

This is the knowledge and passion we shares during our dinners.
